Food supplements and hygiene
Our products are food supplements.
For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of supplements that have been opened or used, unless the item is faulty or incorrect. This approach is permitted under UK consumer law.
Please make sure you are happy with your purchase before opening the product.
Your right to cancel (UK distance selling)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day after you receive the goods, without giving a reason. If you wish to cancel, please notify us within this period. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
Health and hygiene exception:
This right to cancel does not apply once a sealed food supplement has been opened, due to health and hygiene protection. If your product is unopened, unused and the seal is intact, you may request cancellation within the 14‑day period.
Change-of-mind returns
We accept change-of-mind returns where all of the following apply:
the product is unopened
the product is unused
the seal is intact
the return request is made within 14 days of delivery
To request a return, please email hello@lunaformulas.co.uk and include your order number and reason for return.
If your return is approved:
you are responsible for return postage
we recommend using a tracked postal service
returned items remain your responsibility until received by us
we cannot issue refunds for items that are lost or damaged in transit
If a returned item shows signs of use or handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and characteristics, we may make a reasonable deduction from your refund to reflect any loss in value.
Please do not send returns without contacting us first.
Opened or used products
We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for products that have been opened or used, unless the product is faulty or incorrect. This includes broken seals or partially used supplements.
Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@lunaformulas.co.uk. Photos are helpful where possible. If a fault is confirmed, we will offer a replacement or a refund and cover reasonable return postage costs where appropriate. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If a product is faulty or misdescribed you have up to 30 days to reject it for a full refund. After 30 days, and for up to six years, you are entitled to a repair or replacement or, if this is not possible, a refund.
Refunds
Where a return is approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item or evidence that it has been sent back.
If you exercise your right to cancel, we will refund the cost of the goods and the standard delivery charge you paid. If you chose a delivery service that costs more than our standard option, we will refund only the amount of the standard delivery.
Subscription orders
Subscription orders are subject to the same returns and refunds rules as one-off purchases.
If a subscription order has already been processed or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and this policy will apply.
Cancellations made in line with our subscription cut-off (at least 5 days before renewal or dispatch) apply to future orders only.
Returns address
Approved returns should be sent to the returns address provided on our product labels or as confirmed by email once your return has been approved.
Please do not send returns without prior approval.
